Life by the beach

Never blogged about our stay in Holland, MI so here it is...

Spent two full days with our friends and there little ones aged 6 and 3. Everyone got along great. We spent alot of time at the beach, even when stomrs were upon us, and enjoyed a cookout.

We took turns on the tandem bicylce and towed two kids at a time to the park in downtown Holland and back. Holland is a beautiful city, that feels like a small town, on the Michigan shore.

The kids paired up according to ages. the older ones always drove in our van and played in the water at the beach. The younger ones drove in their white wagon and stayed along the shore playing in the sand.

Their property is gorgeous, 2 acres of woods right in the middle of Holland. They had a giant swing and dune buggy to ride around the property. We felt like we were camping!

  1. Nice photos. The tandam bikes shot reminds me of Paris more than Holland - okay, I was trying to do a little European geography joke there, but they do ride a lot of bikes in Holland as well, so it was a long shot.

It is always great when there are playmates the same age as your family. Makes it easier somehow.
